Ed Protzel

Ed Protzel grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of a Jewish father and part-Cherokee mother. Having spent parts of his youth in an orphanage and as a teen runaway, his writing not surprisingly is populated with complex characters living on the fringes of society, trying to survive in an often unjust world. Ed’s interest in history is reflected in his work, from his sci-fi suspense thriller, THE ANTIQUITIES DEALER, to his Southern historical DarkHorse Trilogy (THE LIES THAT BIND, HONOR AMONG OUTCASTS, SOMETHING IN MADNESS).
